CMPak restricted d/b/a Zong and China Mobile Pakistan (Urdu: زونگ) could be a pan Pakistan mobile network operator headquartered in Islamabad, that offers voice and information services starting from prepaid and prepaid plans, 2G, 3G and 4G services, mobile banking to fastened telecom. Zong commenced operations as Paktel by Cable & Wireless in 1991. It was the primary company granted a free license to hold out telephone services in Pakistan. It applied AMPS services till 2004, once the corporate launched GSM services.
